Rodger Mitchell Army's star running back starts out with 1500 running yards. Arising out of North Carolina, was enlisted into the military out of highschool. He is an all natural, versatile field aware player, on and off the field.

Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week.

Brady Dygert

A sophomore linebacker from Magnolia, is among the American Southwest Conference leaders in tackles this season, entering this weekend's game against East Texas Baptist ranked fourth with 49 total tackles. Dygert has had at least six tackles in every game this year, including nine in the team's most recent game against McMurry. Seven of those nine tackles for Dygert were solo stops, and he's also added 1.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles-for-loss this year. Dygert also has two fumble recoveries and two pass breakups so far this season.

College Highlights

In the recent 2023 SEC football season, the championship matchup is set, two coaches have been fired, and it hasn't been a banner season for the SEC, although Georgia and Alabama remain in College Football Playoff contention .
